I find myself wondering how she has come to articulate her experience this way, and realizing that it doesn’t matter how it’s pieced together–what an incredible story! I’m also so touched that you’re able to intuit her longing for intimacy, I’m reassured that you are an empathic presence in her life, and she’s sooo lucky to get that feedback from her mom. I do often think of how amazing it is just to “be”; particularly when there’s a delay at the airport, I always think the inconvenience pales in comparison to the fact that planes actually exist!
